New acquisitions for MKPM (The Piggott Times)Last month trustees with the Matilda and Karl Pfeiffer Museum and Study Center in Piggott made their annual pilgrimage to Arizona to attend the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. The show is held the first full weekend of each February, and has grown into the largest such event in the United States.
Dinosaur exhibit extended through March at Danville's Community Arts Center (The Danville Advocate-Messenger)During January and February 2010 alone, more than 7,500 visitors and school students have visited the exhibit "Dinosaurs: The Big Picture" at the Community Arts Center in Danville. Due to this great response and the demand to accommodate more group tours and school field trips, the exhibit has been extended through March 26, also adding an extra weekday open to the public for touring.
