About us
Malachite Mall is a family run affair, owned by Laddie and Janette Crabb with
their son Jimmy.
Laddie has had a life long love of minerals, fossils and all things related,
but spent a life time in the construction business working for large aluminium
shop front companies. Fate finally dealt a kind hand when he teamed up with his
eldest son Jimmy, to start Malachite Mall.
Jimmy has been a mineral wholesaler and web designer for many years and
now specialises in creating websites for mineral dealers. His skills and
contacts, along with Laddie's years of business experience and love of minerals
form the nuclease of the dynamic team that is Mineral Mall.
OK - these 2 hard headed rock nuts would spend every moment of the day
digging for and playing with rocks, and so need a moderating influence to ensure
they do what has to be done. Enter the third member of the team - Jeanette Crabb
(aka Mom )
So basically Laddie takes care of the day to day running and admin, Jeanette
is the customer liaison person who also is responsible for all the photography
and adding new items to the site while Jimmy takes care of all the webdesign,
programming and sourcing of stock
